Cooch Behar Trophy: Goa pile up 528/6 against Odisha

In reply to Goa’s massive first innings score of 528 for 9 declared, hosts Odisha were 48 for 2 on the second day of the U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy tournament at Ravenshaw Ground here on Monday.

The visitors, who resumed their innings at 296 for 3, added 232 runs to their score. Sufiyan Alam, not out on 92 overnight, cracked a fluent century before getting out for 130.

For Odisha, Debapriya Patnaik and Rajkishen Patel bagged three and two wickets respectively.

In reply, the hosts lost two wickets of Subhrajyoti Mishra for 28 and Pratik Tripathy for 6.

With eight wickets in hand, Odisha have a daunting task to avoid a possible innings defeat in the next two days.
