Cooch Behar Trophy: Odisha recover after 3 quick wickets

Odisha made a decent start against Jharkhand on the first day of the Cooch Behar U-19 Plate-B tournament here on Sunday.

Electing to bat, the visitors put up 62 runs for the first wicket but then lost three wickets rather quickly for 132 runs.

However, S Senapati and Suman Mohanty ensured no further loss of wickets remaining unbeaten on 50 and 15 respectively taking the score to 167 at close.

For Jharkhand, SR Singh, Ronit Singh and KP Singh claimed one wicket each.
