Cops question summary dismissal of their Tikiri colleagues

The Orissa Police Officers Association has questioned the manner in which Sujit Kumar Sai, Inspector-in-Charge, and Muralidhar Pradhan, ASI of Tikiri police station in Rayagada district were dismissed from their jobs by the government in the lady teacher immolation case at a time when departmental proceedings against them were underway.

Leaders of the association said they will decide on their future course of action on the issue in the next few days.
