Cops register 219 cases for violations of COVID-19 norms in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A total of 219 cases were registered by Odisha Police at different police stations across the State for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to COVID-19.

Cops registered these cases from morning of March 31 to morning of April 1, a statement issued by Odisha Police said.

It added 197 cases have been registered for violation of lockdown whereas nine cases were registered for violation of home quarantine. The remaining 13 cases have been registered for other related issues.

In Odisha, out of 610 samples, four have been test positive for COVID-19 till April 1, 2020. A total of 88 persons have been kept under isolation in different hospitals.
