Coronavirus: Multiple Odisha dists on toes, leaves of govt employees cancelled

Bhubaneswar: Multiple districts of Odisha have been put on alert to avoid chances of spreading of COVID-19.

The Ganjam district administration has decided for imposition of prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC. Gathering of more than five persons at a single place in the district has been prohibited. This apart, leaves of all government employees in the district have been cancelled.

Similarly, Rayagada district administration has also cancelled leaves of all government employees and asked them to remain present at their headquarters until further orders.

Likewise, leaves of all government employees have been cancelled in Khordha district while restriction has been imposed on visit to tourist spots in the district. Gajapati and Jharsuguda district administrations have also taken similar decision.

So far, no coronavirus case has been confirmed in the state.
