Couple, son critical as miscreants hurl bomb in Odisha’s Khordha

Khordha: A couple and their son sustained critical injuries as unidentified miscreants hurled bomb at their house at Bhogada village under Baghamari police limits in Odisha’s Khordha district late last night.

The accused hurled bomb at the house while the three were sleeping. On hearing the explosion, neighbours rushed to the spot, rescued the victims and admitted to the Khordha District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

The wrongdoers fled the spot after committing the act. Preliminary investigation revealed that the bomb was hurled with an intention of loot. Police have started investigation into the incident and initiated efforts to identify and nab the accused.
