COVID-19: Another Odisha Minister tests positive
Bhubaneswar: Another Odisha Minister tested positive for the wily COVID-19 virus. Samples of Higher Education and Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo were found to be positive for the virus.
In a tweet today, Sahoo said he is currently in home isolation and his condition is stable. He further requested everyone who came in contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested.
Few days back Rural Development and Labour Minister Susanta Singh also tested positive for the virus. Yesterday, Singh in a social media post informed that he recovered from the virus infection and was discharged from hospital.
Earlier in the day, Chandbali MLA Byomakesh Ray informed he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Other legislators who tested positive were Baramba MLA Debi Prasad Mishra, Pottangi MLA Pritam Padhi, Bhadrak MLA Sanjib Mallick, Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Khandapada MLA and Editor of ‘Sambad’ Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Polasara MLA Srikant Sahu, Remuna MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar Parida and Salepur MLA Prasant Behera.
