COVID-19 upsurge: Ganjam admin imposes fresh restrictions at these tourist sites

Berhampur: As part of precautionary measures in view of steep hike in COVID-19 cases, Ganjam administration has imposed fresh restrictions in many tourist sites in the district.

Ganjam district administration informed this on its official Twitter handle today.

As per the decisions taken in view of ‘alarming’ COVID situation in the second wave of the pandemic, Gopalpur and Sunapur beaches will remain closed on weekends.

To avoid congregation and crowd, the district authorities have closed Ramalingeshwar park and Tampara Lake for every Monday.

Similarly, the restrictions have been imposed in the Maa Taratarini Temple for the devotees. The famous Shakti shrine will remain closed on every Wednesday.
