CRC’s half-charred body found in Odisha’s Koraput, murder suspected

Jeypore: Half-burnt body of a Cluster Resource Coordinator (CRC) was recovered from a forest near Dangara village under Borigumma police limits in Odisha’s Koraput district today.

The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Sial (56) of Ambaguda village. He had gone missing since yesterday after he left home and went towards Dangara Upper Primary School.

A motorcycle and a mobile phone was spotted near the body. Though the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he was killed and set on fire by miscreants.

On being informed about the body lying at the spot, police reached the spot along with a scientific team and started investigation.
