‘Construction Workers Health Check-up Week’ by CREDAI Odisha begins

Bhubaneswar, July 9:

As part of the social initiative, Better Healthcare’ – CREDAI CSR Committee along with Odisha CREDAI youth wing, has organised a week-long free mega health check-up camp from July 7  to July 13   for construction workers at  20 different construction sites in Bhubaneswar.Credai Health Check-up 1

Around 1,200 laborers will benefit from this health camp which include check-up of eye, nose, throat, nutrition, diabetes and overall health indicators and will be offered free medicine assistance under guidance of specialized doctors and medical teams from various city based hospitals.

“This camp kicks off health check-up in almost 5000 sites across 22 states and 150 cities across the country through this week as it’s a nationwide movement initiated by Credai. This efforts of Credai will help to create a better relation with workers and increase their efficiency in the work with a better health profile,” Said D.S.Tripathy, Joint Secretary Credai National.

Credai Odisha, Youth Wing Co-radiator Pankaj Motwani said he felt quite excited about the idea and was receiving tremendous response from fellow members to organize the health check-ups at their sites.

The first camp was organized at Lordsway, Siula on the  Bhubaneswar Puri NH on July 7, he said.

The Credai Odisha office bearers who were present at the inaugural include Binay Das- IPP, Dilip Patra- president, Partha Biswal and Swadesh Routray – vice presidents, Sangram Sahu – secretary, Himansu Nayak – joint secretary, Sudhir Patnaik – treasurer.
