Cuttack Half Marathon 2022: Know date, venue and other details

Cuttack: To promote running as the most desirable step towards fitness, Cuttack Half Marathon-2022 will be held on December 4 near Naraj Barrage on outskirts of the city.

Cuttack Half Marathon, 2022, will be curated by ‘The Tamasha Project’ and powered by ‘Cuttack Runners’.

Cuttack Half Marathon (CHM), the first of its kind in Cuttack, which will use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to monitor the timing of participants.

Cuttack has never experienced such organised races before. ‘The Tamsha Project’ and ‘Cuttack Runners’ would bring in a way people view running a sport, a release stated today.

The event will be held in two different categories such as Competitive Category (Bibs with Timing Chip) and Non Competitive Category (Bibs without Timing Chip). While Competitive category includes Half Marathon of 21.1k, 10k and 5k events, the second category features 5k and 3k events.

The participants in different categories need to deposit the registration fee of Rs 400 onwards for the event. The organiser has fixed Rs 850 (Early Bird) and Rs 1000 (Normal) for half marathon of 21.1k, Rs 750 (Early Bird) and Rs 850 (Normal) for 10k and Rs 700 (Early Bird) and Rs 600 (Normal) for 5k event under Competitive category. One can take part in 5k event and 3k event in non competitive category with registration fees — Rs 400 (Early Bird) and Rs 500 (Normal).

1. Half Marathon (21.1k) : Eligibility – 18 years
2. 10k : Eligibility – 16 years
3. 5k : No age barrier.

B. Non Competitive Category (Bibs without Timing Chip)
1. 5k (Fun Run/Walk)
2. 3k (Fun Run/Walk)
