Cuttack murder: Prime accused arrested in Andhra Pradesh

Cuttack: Twin City Commissionerate Police have arrested the prime accused in the murder of a youth in Jobra area of Odisha’s Cuttack city.

A team of Malgodown police apprehended Muna Reddy, the accused, in Andhra Pradesh, reports said.

Earlier, police had arrested two accused, identified as Biswaranjan Mohanty alias Happy and Balaram Patra, for their alleged involvement in the murder.

Notably, Tapan Nayak of Matia Mangala Sahi in Jobra area had died after allegedly being attacked by miscreants with knife on June 9 night. The incident was a fallout of a dispute between the deceased and the accused over fishing at Jobra barrage.
