Cyclonic circulation: Rainfall likely to lash north, south Odisha

A cyclonic circulation formed over northwest Bay of Bengal on Monday is likely to trigger rainfall across Odisha in the next 24 hours, the local Meteorological Centre predicted.

Rainfall/thundershower likely to occur at many places over north Odisha and few places over south Odisha, it forecasted, adding that heavy rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over north Odisha.

However, it is unclear whether the cyclonic circulation would turn into a low pressure or not.
