Czech Republic keen on engineering, food processing units in Odisha

The Czech Republic today expressed its keenness in setting up a heavy engineering unit and a food processing unit in Odisha.

A discussion to this effect was held between a delegation from the Czech Republic, led by Czech ambassador to India Miloslav Stasek, and state Industry minister Devi Prasad Mishra at the State Secretariat here today.

The delegation proposed to the minister a MoU between Czech Republic and Odisha government and invited him to visit Czech Republic to strengthen mutual relationships.

Among others, Industry secretary Vishal Dev, DK Singh, representative of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
