Dalai Lama to arrive in Odisha capital today

Bhubaneswar: Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama will be visiting Odisha on a two-day tour and is scheduled to hold talks with Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today.

Official sources said the 82-year-old Buddhist monk is scheduled to visit Chandragiri in Gajapati district.

Besides, the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate will be conferred with the 10th KISS Humanitarian Award at a glittering ceremony on November 21.

Dalai Lama will be the first Nobel Prize awardee to get the KISS Humanitarian Award. He will address the 27,000 tribal children of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS).

Notably, the Tibetan leader is now on a week-long three-city tour to Delhi, Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata.
