Decomposed body of 27-YO youth found in Nayagarh forest

Nayagarh: The decomposed body of  a 27-year-old youth was found from Kaliasandha forest near Darpanarayanpur village under Ranapur police limits in Nayagarh district today.

The deceased has been identified as Balabhadra Baliarsingh, a resident of Lathipada under Itamati police limits in Nayagarh district.

Prima facie suggests that some miscreants have beaten the youth to death and burnt the body using acid before throwing the body in the forest. The incident is suspected to have occurred around four days ago. This morning, a group of people spotted the body and raised an alarm.

Cops of Darpanarayanpur police outpost and Ranapur police station IIC Jyoti Ranjan Panda visited the spot today for investigation. Meanwhile locals suspect hand of Balabhadra’s stepmother in his death as both used to get into  fight frequently.
