Dera violence death toll rises to 36

Chandigarh: The death toll in the violence following the conviction of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim has risen to 36, officials of the Haryana government said on Saturday.

Thirty deaths have been reported in Panchkula, while six persons have died in Sirsa town, where the headquarters of the Dera sect is located. (IANS)
