Devotees not to be allowed inside Puri Srimandir after 8 pm

Puri: In view of the night curfew (9 pm to 5 am) being imposed in Odisha’s Puri town everyday, the district administration has decided not to allow devotees to enter the Shree Jagannath Temple here after 8 pm.

Process will be underway between 8 pm and 9 pm to make the devotees present inside the temple exit the premises.

The temple will remain closed for devotees an Saturdays and Sundays as a measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 and sanitisation of the premises.

Those visiting the temple from outside of Odisha will be required to bring COVID-19 negative certificate (RT PCR) of testing done within 96 hours prior to their visit or produce a report on the 2nd dose of COVID vaccination.
