Dharmendra apprises Rajnath Singh of Bhadrak situation

Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and apprised the latter about the situation in Odisha’s Bhadrak where violence had erupted over objectionable remarks on Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in social media.

Pradhan took to Twitter to inform about his meeting with Singh.

ଭଦ୍ରକ ଘଟଣା ନେଇ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଗୃହ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ରାଜନାଥ ସିଂଙ୍କ ସହ କଥା ହେଲି ଓ ସ୍ଥିତି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଅବଗତ କରାଇଲି ।

Pradhan also requested Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to take steps to restore normalcy in Bhadrak.

ଭଦ୍ରକ ଠାରେ ଶାନ୍ତି ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ବଜାୟ ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଇନ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ ନ୍ୟାୟସଙ୍ଗତ ଭାବେ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେବାକୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରୁଛି ।

It is essential to take steps in the matter carefully as sentiments of people are linked with it, Pradhan said.

ଘଟଣା ଭାବାବେଗ ସହିତ ଜଡିତ ଥିବା କାରଣରୁ ଅଧିକ ଯତ୍ନବାନ ହୋଇ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେବା ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଜରୁରୀ ।

The union minister also appealed the people of Bhadrak to maintain peace and harmony.
