Digital payment system soon in Odisha govt offices

Bhubaneswar: Putting a step forward for cashless economy, Odisha government decided to implement digital payment system in all its offices in the State.

A proposal on execution of digital payment system was approved by Finance Minister Sashi Bhushan Behera.

In this regard, Finance Additional Chief Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey has written a letter to all the departments of the government.

With the implementation of the system, the public and beneficiaries can make payment through debit cards, BHIM App and Aadhar linked payment system.

The offices can use Point of Sale (POS) machines of two different banks for receiving the payment from people.
