According to sources, names of 14 accused have been mentioned in the 1120 page-charge sheet. While 10 of them have been arrested, four are still absconding, sources said.

Dipu, who was working as a tender fixer and sharpshooter for Dhalasamanta brothers, was reportedly killed by the duo due to showing disobedience towards them and going out of control.

On November 12, 2013, Dipu along with Om, another aide of D-brothers, were taken to a farm house near Ansupa in Athagarh where they were beaten to death by the criminal siblings and their associates. The bodies were later taken to Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum area and burnt with petrol before the corpses were dumped to eliminate evidence.

However, the charred bodies were discovered by locals after a few days. Involvement of D-brothers in the crime came to fore after Dipu’s photograph and driving licence were found during a police raid at the former’s residence in Vizag.
