Domestic cricket season to kickstart with Mushtaq Ali T20 from Jan 10

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today informed its state bodies about its decision to organize the Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament from January 10.

The teams will assemble in their bio-hubs on January 2 and the final will be played on January 31.

Also, the BCCI extended the last date for the Inter-state transfer and registration of guest players till December 20, 2020.

The T20 format will provide smaller window to players during these prevailing situation. This is the reason why the State bodies are preferring the T20 format, said an official.
