The department has sought the reports latest by April 11, sources added.

Sources said a high-level meeting to review the progress made in the investigations would be held at the state secretariat on April 16. The meeting would be chaired by chief secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi.

The meeting apart from reviewing the implementation of the recommendations of the taskforce would discuss the action to be taken.

The GA department has issued letters to Vigilance, Finance, and Urban Development departments, Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) and Odisha State Housing Board, the sources revealed.

Notably, over 1,900 persons have availed plots or houses under DQ from these organizations. However, only 700 out of them have been served with notices. Ministers, MLAs, bureaucrats and influential persons are among those who have availed benefits under DQ.
