Dr Jayashree appointed SCB Dean and Principal in-charge

Cuttack: Prof. Dr. Jayashree Mohanty has been appointed as the Dean and Principal-in-charge of the SCB Medical College & Hospital following the voluntary retirement of Prof. (Dr) Sidhartha Das.

As per the notification dated Jan 30 issued by the Health Department, Dr. Jayashree of Radiology department of the SCB will be in charge as the new Dean and Principal till further appointment to the post.

The government also ordered Dr. Das to hand over the charges to Dr. Mohanty.

The appointment came after Dean and Principal of the SCB Dr. Sidhartha Das urged the State government for retirement under VRS scheme. The State also accepted his application.

Meanwhile, the tenure of Superintendent of the SCB Prof. (Dr) Prasanna Kumar Debata also ends on Thursday. However, no appointment is yet to the Superintendent post.
