Drive-in vaccination programme extended in Odisha capital; check details here

Bhubaneswar: Augmenting COVID inoculation programme in view of massive spread of infections, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today extended its drive-in vaccination date for beneficiaries above 45+ age group.

With extension of the drive, the citizens above 45 years who have taken their first dose at healthcare facilities in Bhubaneswar can receive their second dose at the designated locations in Bhubaneswar from May 17 till May 22 after booking slots.

The booking starts at 6.00 PM today. Daily 500 slots will be available from  May 17 till May 22. 

The drive-in vaccination programme by the BMC is underway at parking lots of Esplanade One Mall, Utkal Kanika Galleria, Symphony Mall, and Regalia Mall and cricket ground of KIIT University.

As per the guidelines, the beneficiaries will have to drive in their vehicle to the venue mentioned above as per the slot booked by them.

They need to visit the venue with first dose acknowledgement/certificate for verification.

The vaccination will be done at the designated vaccination point. After vaccination, the citizens can drive out and wait at the waiting area of the venue for 30 minutes for observation and can move out later.
