Drunk man kills wife by slitting her throat in Odisha’s Puri
Nimapada: A man allegedly murdered his wife by slitting her throat at Dighal Slum under Nimapada police limits in Odisha’s Puri district.
According to reports, accused Irfan Khan (36) used to thrash his wife Baharun Bibi (26) after consuming liquor, over which a family dispute was prevailing between the two.

A heated exchange of words erupted between Irfan and Baharun as the former returned home in a drunk state, last night.
The matter took a violent turn as he slit her throat with a blade. The woman bled profusely and died on the spot.
Locals nabbed the accused and informed the police about the incident. Cops have recovered the body for post-mortem and detained him for questioning.
