Dussehra: Have virtual darshan of Goddess Durga from these 2 temples in Cuttack

Cuttack: Even though Odisha Government has imposed restriction on public participation in Dussehra, you can have virtual darshan of Goddess Durga from two temples in Cuttack.

Jio’s mobile app JioNews is now featuring videos showcasing everyday Besa (attire) of Goddess Durga during the ongoing Dussehra festival from Gada Chandiand and Maa Basanti Durga temples here. The initiative will help devotees across the state have a glimpse of the Goddess from the two temples at their comfort and safety.

As the Besa of Goddess Durga at Shakti Peethas (temples) changes every day during the festival, devotees can watch videos of the same on the Jio platform till Dashami (October15).

Worth mentioning, Goddess Durga at Gada Chandi temple is decked out in six different Besas–Gayatri Besa, Mahalaxmi Besa, Maha Saraswati Besa, Maha Kali Besa, Kamala Besa and Mahisha Mardini Besa–from Sasthi to Dashami.

To have virtual darshan of the Goddess from the two temples of the Silver City, Jio users can open JioNews app or website JioNews.com, select Odia as language, click ‘Videos’ and select Durga Puja 2021. The ‘Durga Puja 2021’ category also contains videos showcasing Durga idols from Kolkata.
