e-publishing scam: Odisha cops freeze over Rs 20 lakh in multiple accounts

Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police have frozen multiple bank accounts of APS Solutions Pvt Ltd (All Process Source Solutions Private Limited) with deposits worth over Rs 20 lakh, police said today.

“We have frozen multiple bank accounts of the firm with deposits amounting to over Rs 20 lakh. Our investigations are on. We are trying to trace others who are staying outside the state. We are conducting searches,” informed Satyabrata Bhoi, DCP Bhubaneswar.

Sources said that the police have found over Rs 9 lakh from the bank account of the firm’s regional head Manoja Manjari Panda, Rs 6.50 lakh from the bank account of Raghavendra-the firm’s head and Rs 5.50 lakh from the bank account of Capt (Retd) Nrusingh Prasad Patnaik.

Notably, Patnaik was arrested by the Twin City Commissionerate Police on Friday last as we reported here for his alleged complicity in duping people of nearly Rs 100 crore in the name of providing e-publishing jobs.
