Earthquake felt in several parts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Mild earthquake was felt in several regions of Odisha on the wee hours of Thursday, the Regional Meteorological Centre said today.

Tremors triggered by the earthquake, which had its epicentre at Angul, were slightly felt in Boudh Sadar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal Sadar, Nayagarh and Angul at 3.03 am.

The magnitude of the earthquake, having depth of 10 km, was measured 3.6 in Richter scale.

While the intensity of the quake was ‘light’ in Angul, it was ‘weak’ in Boudh Sadar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal Sadar and Nayagarh.

No casualty or loss of property has been reported.
