ECoR to add AC coach to Garib Rath Exp

To provide comfortable journey to the commuters and to clear the long list of wait-listed passengers in Garib Rath trains, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) authorities have decided to add one AC-3 tier coach each permanently in Puri-Howrah-Puri, Puri-Yesvantpur-Puri and Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Garib Rath Express trains.

12832/12831 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Garib Rath Express trains will have a permanent additional AC-3 tier each from Bhubaneswar and Dhanbad from June 8 and 9 respectively.

12882/12881 Puri-Howrah-Puri Garib Rath Express trains will have a permanent additional AC-3 tier each from Puri and Howrah from June 9 and 10 respectively.

22883/22884 Puri-Yesvantpur-Puri Garib Rath Express trains will have a permanent additional AC-3 tier each from Puri and Yesvantpur from June 13 and 14 respectively.

This apart, ECoR has also decided to extend the services of 02841/02842 Howrah-Chennai-Howrah Premium Special train leaving Howrah on every Friday towards Chennai and leaving Chennai on every Saturday towards Howrah up to last week of June, an ECoR release said today.
