ECoR to run special Puja trains to Pune, Patna from Odishas capital

With a view to providing comfortable journey to the commuters during the busy Puja season and to avoid wait listed tickets in regular trains, East Coast Railway (ECoR), for the first time, has decided to run special trains to Pune and Patna from Odisha’s capital city.

A large number of berths are available in these trains and passengers may avail the facility of these Special trains to go to their destinations.

The 02882 Bhubaneswar-Pune weekly premium special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 2215 hours every Sunday between September 21 and 30 and reach at Pune at 0500 hours on Tuesday.

In the return direction, the train will leave Pune at 1115 hours every Tuesday between September 23 and December 2 and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 1735 hours on Wednesday.

The train will have stoppages at Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Secunderabad and Wadi between Bhubaneswar and Pune.

The 08449 Bhubaneswar-Patna weekly special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 1530 hours every Friday between September 19 and October 3 and arrive at Patna at 1140 hours on Saturdays.

In the return direction, the train will leave Patna at 1400 hours every Saturday between September 20 and October 4 2014 and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 0700 hours on Sundays.

The train will have stoppages at Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Adra, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama and Fathuha between Bhubaneswar and Patna, an ECoR release said today.
