A passenger special train will run from Visakhapatnam to Howrah through Odisha this evening for the convenience of the passengers, an East Coast Railway (ECoR) release said today.

indian railTwo days after the cyclonic storm Hudhud disrupted rail traffic, train services are gradually getting normalised under ECoR division in Odisha, the ECoR release said.

A few trains have started their journey towards Chennai, Bangalore, Yesvantpur and Secunderabad this morning.

08512 Visakhapatnam-Howrah Special Train leaving Visakhapatnam today at 5.50 PM will reach Howrah at 9.10 AM on October 15.

In the return direction, 08511 Howrah-Visakhapatnam special train will leave Howrah at 5.51 PM on October 15 and reach Visakhapatnam at 8.45 AM on Thursday.

This train with one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, six sleeper class, six general second class and two guard-cum-luggage vans in its composition will have stoppages at Simhachalam, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Chipurupalli, Srikakulam, Nawapara, Palasa, Brahmapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Baleswar and Kharagpur between Visakhapatnam and Howrah.

ECoR has requested the passengers to bear with the delay and cooperate with the Railways in the adjustment of timing and pairing of connecting trains.
