ECoR short terminates 2 trains, cancel 1 in Odisha for modernisation

East Coast Railways (ECoR) has decided to short terminate two passenger trains and cancel one train for undertaking safety related modernization work at Delanga, Birpurusottampur and Sakhigopal stations in the Khurda Road-Puri section in Odisha for commissioning of doubling of track between Delang and Sakhigopal stations, said an ECoR release issued today.

The release said 58131/58132 Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela passenger will run between Rourkela and Cuttack. The train will remain cancelled between Cuttack and Puri from January 25 to February 2 on both directions.

Similarly, 58001/58002 Howrah-Puri-Howrah (Santragachhi) passenger will also run between Howrah and Khurda Road and will remain cancelled between Khurda Road and Puri from January 25 to February  2 on either direction, the release added.

The 58410/58409 Puri-Khurda Road-Puri passenger will remain cancelled till February 2 in both the directions for overhead electricity work during night time, the release further said.​
