ECoR suspends four staff for Odisha train mishap

The East Coast Railway (ECoR) today suspended four staff for their gross negligence which led to the train mishap at Kathajodi passenger halt near Odisha’s Cuttack railway station this evening.

According to sources, ECoR suspended a guard, driver, assistant driver and loco inspector after the train mishap at Kathajodi which claimed to lives and injured around 27 passengers.

Following the incident, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu had tweeted that negligence will be punished severely.
