Edu Dept official in Odisha Vigilance net

Cuttack, Aug 5:
Acting on allegations of amassing assets disproportionate to known sources of income, Vigilance sleuths today conducted raid at the residence of Education Department official Prashant Kar at Telengapentha in Odisha’s millennium city Cuttack.

The raid was conducted by a Vigilance team early this morning, reports said.
According to sources, the move of the Vigilance came after the agency found that Kar’s wife runs an NGO besides being a teacher by profession.
