Elections 2019: Inter State Coordination meeting begins in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: The senior police delegations of six States today attended the Inter State Coordination Meeting here for smooth conduct of the upcoming general elections 2019.

Along with top cops in Odisha Police, the police officials of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Telangana and West Bengal will discuss several issues during the meeting at DG Camp office to prevent poll violence.

Reports said that the issues including Maoist menace will be discussed at the Inter State Coordination meeting.

Odisha DGP Dr. RP Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Asit Tripathy, CRPF IGP (Odisha), BSF IGP (Odisha) AK Singh and Intelligence DIGP Amresh Mishra among others were present at the meeting.
