Bhubaneswar: Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Odisha Crime Branch police today arrested a woman for allegedly committing fraud of over Rs 3 crore.

The arrested woman has been identified as Sanghamitra Gowda.

According to reports, Sanghamitra has allegedly sold a piece of land three times.

That apart she has obtained loans from different banks, private financial institutions and individuals by mortgaging the same piece of land.

Following complaints against Sanghamitra, the High Court had ordered for her arrest. In the same case, her husband has been arrested earlier.
