EOW seeks Odisha govt nod to attach assets of two companies

Bhubaneswar, Feb 4:

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the crime branch today wrote to the Finance department of the Odisha government seeking permission to attach the properties two real estate companies: Gajanan Property Dealer and Construction Private Limited and Ascend Creation.

The movable and immovable properties belonging to Gajanan, which are sought to be attached by EOW under section 3 of the Odisha Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 2011  are 7.14 acres land, a market complex and a Kalyan Mandap at Pattamundai.

The property of Ascend sought to be attached are 9.9 acres of land, a car and a petrol pump at Rasulpur in Jajpur district.
