EPF official arrested for bribery in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar, Mar 13:
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team here today arrested an Enforcement Officer of Employment Provident Fund (EPF) in the city while accepting bribe from a person.

CBI sources said the arrested, identified as Pankaj Lenka had demanded Rs 15,000 from a person to issue Provident Fund certificate to him.
As the person informed the CBI about the matter, a team of CBI officials conducted a surprise raid on the EPF office and caught Lenka red handed while he was accepting the bribe.
The CBI officials later seized the bribe money and arrested Lenka.
