Ex-bank official killed in road mishap in Odisha capital

A former bank employee was killed and his wife grievously hurt when the Activa scooter in which they were travelling was hit from behind by a speeding car today at the Khandagiri square in the Odisha capital.

The former bank official who died on the spot has been identified as Uttam Kumar Sahu, while his wife who was critically injured in the accident has been shifted to a private hospital, reports said.

Tension ran high at Khandagiri square following the mishap.
