Experience the Mahanadi breeze while relishing food at Floating Restaurant in Cuttack

Cuttack: Adding a fresh dimension to the scope of tourism in the state, the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) has launched Floating Restaurant facility at the Silver City Boat Club here.

With the newly-introduced Floating Restaurant, one can savour the views of Mahanadi river and feel the breeze while relishing delicious dishes.

The Floating Restaurant was inaugurated by OTDC Chairperson Shreemayee Mishra on October 10.

While an eight-seater Floating Restaurant is available for the visitors in the first phase, 30 more Floating Restaurants are expected to come up soon. The tourists will be charged hourly for using the facility.

The restaurant has been decorated with LED lights while a solar panel has also been installed atop it. Steps have been taken by the OTDC to ensure safety of the visitors onboard the Floating Restaurant.

Seats can be booked through Silver City Boat Club or Panthanivas.
