Explosives planted by Maoists seized in Odisha’s Koraput district

The BSF personnel today seized explosives planted by the Maoists inside Bhedaguda forest under Bandhugan block in Odisha’s Koraput district today.

According to reports, a team of BSF personnel from the Kumbhariput camp had gone for a combing operation inside Bhedaguda forest this morning.

On their way they came across four electronic detonators and four bundles of wire lying on the road side.

Talking to reporters, BSF assistant commandant Harindar Singh said the Maoist had planted the explosive devices only to target the security personnel as this is the only route that connects Bhedaguda with Kumbahriput.
