Family of four wiped out in Odisha road mishap

Koraput, Feb 5:

In a tragic incident, four members of a family were killed today when a truck hit them head on near Mohanpada in Odisha’s Koraput district.

Th deceased were identifies as Daitari Galori of Lunuguri village under Semiliguda block, his wife Padma, three year old son Debaraj and two year old daughter Sushmita.

While Daitari, Padma and Debaraj died on the spot,Sushmita died in the hospital. The girl was rushed to the Koraput hospital for treatment, but succumbed to injuries despite efforts to save her life.

The driver and helper of the truck are also believed to have suatained injuries in the accident, but the police is yet to arrest them.

Meanwhile, the bodies have been sent for autopsy. Police have begun investigation into the matter.
