Famous children’s author Ramendra Kumar to visit Bhubaneswar

Writer Ramendra Kumar, who is best known for authoring children’s fiction, will be visiting Bhubaneswar in March.

  
The award winning writer will be conducting a storytelling session on March 2nd for children aged seven to ten years of age at Bakul Library at 10:30 am in Bhubaneswar. He will also be addressing a session on ‘Effective Parenting’ the following day at the Library.

  
Kumar has authored various popular children’s books like Paplu the Giant, Tale of Tails, Folk Tales of Orissa amongst several others. His work has been translated into multiple Indian and foreign languages. Apart from children’s literature, Kumar also writes poetry and adult fiction.

  
Sujit Mohapatra, founder of Bakul Foundation, told Odisha Sun Times, “We are extremely excited to host Ramendra Kumar at our library. It’s an open event and we are looking forward to the sessions that will be loved by both children and adults alike. All are welcome to attend.”
