Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today asked officials to expedite the process for recruitment for 40,000 posts lying vacant in several government departments and corporations in Odisha.
Presiding over a high-level review meeting at the State Secretariat here, the Chief Minister asked officials to expedite the process in coordination with the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) and Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC).
Patnaik was informed by officials that though the process for recruitment had begun, it had been delayed as some cases are sub judice.
The Chief Minister said he would review the status after a month on April 27.
