Fire breaks out at hotel in Odisha’s Puri

Puri: A major fire broke out at a multi-storeyed hotel on VIP road in Odisha’s Puri last night. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

According to reports, the fire broke out from the maintenance room of ‘Pride Ananya Resort’ and spread to six other rooms of the hotel causing damage of properties worth lakhs of rupees.

On being informed by the hotel staff, fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames.

Electrical short circuit is suspected to be reason behind the fire mishap.
