Fire breaks out at paper mill in Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: A major fire broke out at Emami Paper Mills at Remuna in Odisha’s Balasore district today.

Properties worth lakhs were gutted in the blaze, reports said, adding that the fire broke out at the stock room of the mill due to electrical short circuit.

On being informed, Fire Service personnel rushed to the spot and initiated efforts to douse the flame. There were no reports of any loss of life or injury in the mishap as the workers were not present at the mill due to holiday on the occasion of Holi.
