First ever Radio Fair in Odisha in city on Feb 12-13

In the first ever event of its kind in Odisha, a two-day Radio Fair is being organised by ‘Outreach’, a not-for-profit organisation committed to the promotion of radio, at Bhanja Kala Mandap here on February 12 and 13.

The brainchild of RJ Subrat, the popular radio jockey on Radio Choklate, the Radio Fair would commemorate World Radio Day on February 12.

Radio professionals, broadcasters, listeners and promoters will get together and share thoughts and ideas on the radio medium on the occasion, RJ Subrat said.

The role of radio in promotion and access to information, freedom of expression and gender equality over the airwaves would be discussed during the two-day long deliberations, he said.
