Five killed in road mishap in Odisha’s Sambalpur district

Sambalpur, Oct 25:

Five persons were killed and six others injured when a tractor overturned at Gumulei in Odisha’s Sambalpur district this evening.

Reports said the tractor which was carrying 11 labourers overturned on the Old Ranchi Road at Gumulei under the Katarbaga police limits when the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a bend.

Five labourers died on the spot, reports said.

Six others who sustained injuries have been admitted to the hospital. The condition of one of them is stated to be serious, the reports added.
