Five PLFI members arrested in Odisha

Rajgangpur, May 1:

Five members of People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) have been arrested in Odisha’s Sundargarh district today. Police seized a cache of arms and ammunition from their possession.

According to reports, the PLFI members have been arrested by Rajgangpur police on charges of extorting a businessman from Ranipriya village under Rajgangpur police station limits.

Police have seized four pistols, several rounds of live bullets, eight mobile phones and three bikes from their possession.

As per police sources, several cases of murder, dacoity and extortion are pending against these arrested PLFI members at several police stations in Rajgangpur area.

Meanwhile, Sundergarh and Rourkela police jointly interrogated these arrested PLFI members.
